Pieter Delport and the Eintracht Jagd Safaris

Pieter Delport is a professional born basically with a gun in hand who shot his very first oryx at the tender age of 7 years.

Pieter's hunting experiences progressed to the stage where the notches on his belt today includes leopard hunted with bow and arrow (much to his wife's chagrin). Pieter was born and raised on the family farm from where he and his 3 siblings attended boarding school in the neighboring town of Gobabis until he turned 16 where after he continued his schooling in Clanwilliam South Africa. Pieter completed a hunting internship at hunters unlimited south Africa during 1998 where he met his wife and soon convinced her to move with him to Namibia, which resulted in Eintracht Jagd Safaris being established in the year 2000. The family soon extended when two mini hunters, Daniel and Christiaan were born to the couple, who clearly inherited their father’s enthusiasm for the Namibian veld. Pieter is not only a professional hunter of a standard few are able to meet, but he is also an ardent collector of trophies and it is only the very few rare southern African trophies that still eludes either the sites of his telescope or compound bow. A hunting experience with Pieter grants you, the serious hunter an opportunity to hunt with one of Africa’s remaining real hunters, a once in a lifetime opportunity...

Eintracht Jagd Safaris was established in 2000, when Pieter Delport and his wife, Ankia, made this beautiful piece of land their home.

The farm is situated amidst surrounding hunting area covering 25 000ha of pristine wilderness, densely populated by a variety of indigenous free ranging Namibian game. Exotic animals are available within a radius of 100 km from the main camp and are available on request. The entire area is privately owned by the Delport family whose roots were planted in the early 1940's when the late Daniel Beltsazar Delport purchased the main family farm, Airlie, soon after moving to Suid- Wes Afrika, presently known as the Republic of Namibia. The family extended their own piece of Namibia, by purchasing the farm Eintracht in 1980, where the main hunting base is situated today. As a variety of international clientele can testify to, this is the main spot with record trophies being the order of the day. A variety of game birds of note is further available to the wing shooting corps or just for viewing by the bird watching connoisseur. You are further assured of your hosts priding themselves on offering you a taste of the world renowned Namibian hospitality, we have become famous for. The farm is situated 80 km from the Hosea Kutako International Airport, in less than an hour after arriving in Namibia, you are at your hunting destination, with a drink in hand and admiring the scenery...
